** Digest Option
Just reply to this message, but completely *replace* the *Subject
line* with just:
digest on
That's - Subject: digest on
That's it. If you add "please" the computer will get very confused and
it won't work. :-)
Not sure yet? At the very bottom of every forum e-mail post are
instructions on how to get the digest later as well simply leave the forum.
See below for a "Why e-mail?" in the first place explanation.

** Why e-mail?
On our busiest forums just over half of the posts come in by e-mail
and the rest come in via the website. On start-up forums, e-mail is
used 80%+ of the time to post. E-mail builds connections and trust
among new people who would not "go" to the same website a second time.
Of course many of you want fewer e-mails.
For the "Facebook" generation, this probably seems a bit odd - e-mail
and all. So that is why we have a web-option presented via the daily
digest. We have choices. We also have a web-only option on the site,
but that's "out of sight, out of mind."
Our goal is to create a unified online space for a
neighborhood/community and let you engage it via your preferred
technology - e-mail, web, mobile, Twitter, Facebook, blog-style web
feed, etc.
Lots of other services end up dividing people with similar interests
based on the technology they use (not intentionally). We seek to bring
everyone together. It can seem a bit messy, but it works (for most).
