Great news! We are getting very close to funding approval and City
commitment to the neighborhood recommended design changes along Charles Avenue
from Hamline Midway through Frogtown! Now we need you all to come out to the
public hearings THIS MONTH:
1) Tuesday, July 17, 7-9pm
2) Wednesday, July 25, 7-9pm
Location: Central Corridor Resource Center, 1080 University Avenue
It is important that people from our neighborhoods come and participate to
reinforce the input we have already given on what we want Charles Avenue to
look like. There will be block by block images of the proposed changes for
people to comment on and interact with. The most common changes to be made in
the Frogtown neighborhood are located at the major street crossings of
Lexington, Dale, Western, and Rice streets. Other major changes could include a
series of roundabouts at minor intersections, and stop signs switched to have
traffic stop at Charles vs. stops on Charles every block.
