Next Saturday, St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 11:00 am.-β1:00 pm. we will be in
the Greater Frogtown CDC community room, sowing seeds for our 2012 growing
season.
Stop by and participate in the everyday miracle of starting vegetables and
flowers from seed.
If you can, bring along an empty, clean, clear gallon or half gallon plastic
milk jug, or a plastic rotisserie chicken carton, and see how these items turn
into mini-greenhouses that sprout green shoots as they sit outside in the cold
weather, warming to spring.
Seeds just want to grow, and we save real money by starting from seed rather
that purchasing bedding plants. Take it from a former skeptic, this simple,
ingenious system works!
We'll have seeds & supplies on hand, and we'll be looking for you!
