Welcome to the District 1 Neighbors Forum โ€” The neighborly place to share information, discuss local issues, find solutions and build a vibrant community.  This forum builds bridges across diverse communities and District 1 neighborhoods:

Building an Inclusive and Open Forum

Welcoming online forums that reflect the dynamic diversity of their communities build bridges among neighbors of different backgrounds be they racial, economic, educational, etc. Together we are stronger.

  • District 1 Population: 20,453
  • Outreach Goal: 773+ forum members or ~10% households reflecting local diversity 
  • Diversity: 52% people of color, including 20.3% Black, 16.6% Asian, and 11.2% Latino. 47.8% of the population is White, non-Hispanic. 55% of households earn less than $50,000/year.
