as the case may be, Roseville Councilmember Jason Etten for his role in the
“Master Plan” that presumably guided the $19M Parks “Renewal” Project.

Today, on a typically busy late summer/early fall afternoon at Acorn Park, I
was asked by a couple of the many disc golfers at the park if there was a
drinking fountain anywhere in the 120 acre park. My immediate response was
“no.” Then I remembered, yes, there is a drinking fountain, behind the locked
gates of the park shelter. I informed the disc golfers, that except for a
couple weeks in the winter when it's opened for skaters, the shelter is almost
always closed. The shelter also contains at least one restroom, also almost
always barred from public use.
Thank you Councilmember Etten, for supporting the effort to piss away millions
of dollars on “Renewal” buildings when apparently there's insufficient funds to
utilize and maintain existing facilities.
