Since this forum has been so quiet lately, I did some digging around
this morning - trying to find out, what is happening in Roseville
that might generate some discussion. What I found, was something that
apparently is NOT happening.
A local blogger has done extensive research to determine that
Roseville may be the worst location in the Twin Cities Metro region
for someone hungry for a Chipotle burrito. This is worth checking
out, if only to be amazed at the amount of research one individual
has done in regard to what many of us would consider a pretty trivial
matter (see multiple maps/diagrams).

But, it got me thinking about other business or service "gaps" that
might exist in the Roseville community. Here is your chance to "weigh
in" on the business or service that you'd most like to see come to
Roseville?
Any ideas?

Hi All!
Where I sit, on the South Central Edge of Roseville, I really long for
decent, delivered pizza. We are saturated with the Big Bland Chains but we
can't get the likes of Pizza Man, Rocco's, Carbone's.
That is about the only thing missing from Roseville as far as I know.
BTW, one can get a 7" Red's Savoy Pizza from the Rosetown Legion either
cooked to go or frozen to make at home. $7.99 -- Feeds at LEAST 2.
More businesses...now that's a good topic!

Personally when it comes to pizza I go for Chanticlear. I think they deliver
to pretty much the entire city (they are actually in Arden Hills) - you may
want to check them out. They also deliver wings, lasagna and one of the best
taco pizzas I've ever had.
Chanticlear has closed. ----- Original Message ----- From: K Williams<mailto:<email obscured>> To: Roseville Issues Forum<mailto:<email obscured>> Sent: Thursday, April 17, 2008 10:51 AM Subject: Re: [RIF] The Chipotle Gap - What else is missing? We do have a Carbone's that delivers to any part of Roseville East of Fairview.
It's located on Lexington at Country Road D.
Their number is 651-488-0968.
yeah, found out that Chanticlear was closed when I called them on Friday to
order a pizza. I was sad to find out that they closed about 3 weeks ago and
that none of the other stores delivered to us.
I didn't know that Carbone's delivered. I'll have to give them a try.
The absolute BEST pizza is from John's Pizza Cafe ( Dale/Front/Como)...they
deliver to our house in southern Roseville ( B Dale/Victoria area )
Update on John's Pizza Cafe ( visit their great website of the same
name...google it) delivers south of 36 between 35E and 280.
But they might accomodate you beyond those borders if you call.
Hi Tim, nice to see you here. I just joined the Roseville forum to see what
people are talking about. Does someone have contacts in the schools to do a
survey with the students to see what they like about food available in
Roseville ... and what they'd like to have? Could be a great community
organizing project for the high school.
