Purpose of the Pioneer Valley Base Camp is to support the development of a sustainable energy.

The Goals of Pioneer Valley Base Camp are:

  • reduce our energy use
  • reduce our production of greenhouse gases
  • increase our production of local, renewable energy
  • create good local jobs involved in sustainable energy

Topics that you might find here to discuss include:

  • how municipalities, organizations, businesses, and individuals can reduce their energy use
  • what public policy initiatives we might want to support
  • how we can support the development of new renewable energy resources in our region
