Creative Gathering Spaces and Placemaking

This forum is for everyone interested in working together to start up creative community gathering places or foster more place-making activities in existing spaces.

We envision a network of spaces where people of all ages can drop in anytime for a variety of social and creative opportunities. Some possibilities include a space for arts and crafts, community dances, playing games, child-directed play room for building with reusable scrap items, etc.

We'll use this forum to share and discuss ideas for creating a sustainable model for a community-supported space, as well as for local groups to coordinate efforts in a particular place. 

Online group participants should label topics for discussing efforts in particular places with their neighborhood name or abbreviation at the front of the subject. Together we can learn from each other.

While this "community solutions" forum will initially focus on the Twin Cities, all are welcome.
