It is said that The Black Boy, which had a make-over last year and seemed to
many of us to be a great improvement, with excellent food, is set to close in
two weeks. If this happens, it will be a great loss to Headington. I haven't
had chance to speak to Charlie, the pub's manager, yet, but I'm  calling in
tomorrow to see if there is anything which can be done at this late stage. In
the meantime, if you haven't enjoyed its atmosphere and food, I'd hurry if I
were you before we lose it in its present incarnation.
