Is there any way that I can find out when deliveries are permitted to be made
to Keraleeyam Stores at 121 London Road?

I live above the property and I am continually being disturbed by deliveries
being made between the hours of 11pm-3am. Waitrose deliveries tend to be
between 6am-6pm, which is perfectly reasonable. It seems less reasonable to me
that Keraleeyam Stores accept deliveries in the middle of the night.

I'd imagine their supplier tells them to take it or leave it, or offers a
discount for night deliveries when they can get more productivity out of their
vehicles on quieter roads.

I wish Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Top Man, French Connection etc would accept
midnight deliveries, instead of having artics parked outside their shops at
rush hour, getting in the way of the buses. Out of area Stephanie, sorry
[unless there are shops in Headington who clog the roads with their artics?].

Dear James,

As the other city councillor for the patch (!), let me come in on this: the
usual way to control deliveries is when there has been a planning
application, which can add a condition. But this is not the case here so it
will depend on what is reasonable. While Noam has a point for the city
centre, it's different here because of accommodation being right above the
shops: I'd have thought the timings are unreasonable. Have you mentioned
this to the shop and asked them to consider the timings? That would be a
first step -- if you don't want to do it yourself, drop me a line and I'll
visit them. If that fails, we can look at other measures.
