I recall a thread a few weeks ago about the poor service delivered [pun
intended] by parcel courier firms, dumping packages without knocking on doors,
etc.
The situation for drivers is as bad as you'd imagine, with piece rates starting
at 45p per parcel.
This is not an excuse for poor service on the part of the company, but if I was
a van driver on those kind of T&Cs, I wouldn't give a stuff!
