Yes, it is very likely there will be a big I candidate this year along those
lines. Since this is a Minneapolis list I can promise you that he or she will
not be anything less than a strong 2nd in the city (and given the nature of
this year the whole 5th). Moreover, it has been my fair impression that
Independents of most sorts are quite libertarian on social issues. Of course
the real question in Minneapolis is how many Republicans we win over ;-) as it
was the last time around. I bet it will be even more.

I won't even get into the literacy tests that would've denied Ms. White a vote
in many states during America's troubled history.
