Today there were two instances of posts that were cross-posted in multiple
forums.
This is the Minneapolis Issues Forum. The topics and discussions are required
by the scoping rules and the purpose of this forum to be specific to
Minneapolis.

The forum rules state that "Posting the same or similar message (cross-posting)
to multiple forums may generate a warning if not adequately customized within
the (local) scope of each forum."
*Briefly* providing context that might be applicable to multiple forums in your
post is acceptable but the *focus* of the post needs to be those aspects
specific to Minneapolis.
I have and will issue warnings to those who do not abide by the forum rules, in
this case, the scoping rules. The accumulation of formal warnings can
jeopardize ones ability to participate in the forum.
2.3 Keep Topics within Forum Scope; Posting
Participants must limit posts to topics within the geographic area or issues of
a forum's scope and purpose. Requests by the Forum Manager to bring discussions
within the scope of the written charter and purpose of the forum must be heeded
or warnings may be issued. Participants may not post messages about topics that
are specifically prohibited by a forum's charter. If in doubt about the
appropriateness of a topic, check privately with the Forum Manager before
posting. Otherwise, the Forum Manager may issue an official warning if your
post is deemed out-of-scope. Local forums may set a technical limit on the
number of posts sent each day per participant (typically 2 in 24 hours).
Posting the same or similar message (cross-posting) to multiple forums may
generate a warning if not adequately customized within the (local) scope of
each forum.
