much discussion about the how of this year's ballot, there has been, with a
few exceptions very little about the who for the Park Board elections.
I think these are important choices even if they are at the bottom of the
ballot. There are some competitive and interesting district races.
The at- large Park Board race has qualified and competent candidates. With
four current and one former commissioner in the eight choices vying for
three seats, it is not easy to predict the outcome.
I have great expectations for electronic democracy. We, in this large
living room of friends and strangers, have a chance to share our stories of
who we should chose to be our city leaders and why.
The Park Board at-large race is also the poster child for complexity not
only for RCV but for who will win and with what strategy.
I would love to hear who people are supporting and who they think will win.
With this being the last batch to be counted, I am told we will know the
answer by Dec. 22nd.
Thanks,
