Dan Haugen's Northeast Beat social network and Minneapolis E-Democracy are
teaming up to open the Minneapolis NE Neighbors Forum.

If this forum is big "P" politics, our current four neighborhood forums are big
"C" community. For perspective, with almost 400 members in Standish Ericsson,
that is close to 10% of households. If you extend that participation rate
across the two central cities, that would be 30,000 participants. Wow.

We only open neighborhood forums based on local volunteer interest and the
geographic scope (this forum encompasses more official neighborhoods that our
other spaces, but that is what the locals want to try). So if you want one of
these for Uptown, a specific neighborhood, etc. let us know!
