Annie and all -
Oh my... Having Mark Andrew stand up for you, and implicitly you for
him, by giving him that "air time" at a GREEN PARTY convention is
anything but neutral. This isn't about throwing you under the bus, it's
recognition of your judgment in choosing to step in front of it. This
Andrew alliance, joining the Kaplan's kingmaking machinations on
Andrew's behalf, is very disturbing. Their support of garbage burning
and stadiums on the public dole is green only as the color of money and
corporate interests, and it's against the public interest. If I still
lived in Minneapolis, you'd have lost my vote, and it spurs me to ramp
it up, to donate money and work against Mark Andrew from outstate.
Onward with the "Anyone but Andrew" campaign!

It is also true that there were several DFLers at that meeting who were there
to support my efforts in being re-elected to the Park Board.

Ralph Nader and Environmental work. At that time over 30 years ago you could
have said we were "soul-friends" with many common interests, struggles, bonds
and friends. When it came time for the GP convention I thought I would
"change" it up a little by showing that in fact one cannot win an election in
this city much less Citywide without support of people from all the parties and
especially those of the one-party. ANad thT YES WE Greens need to think about
who is going to be our next Mayor.

Mayor of this City. At this point, I am neutral because if re-elected I have
to work with whomever gets elected. I am known for staying neutral in these
types of skirmishes.

Mark on several issues but for starters the HERC and the expansion. I along
with Frank Hornstein and others fought it in the beginning and I now work in
North Minneapolis and I am support staff for my Harrison neighbors who are sick
from the toxic fumes coming out of there so District Heating may be a good
thing but toxics in the inner-city is not.

a stadium it could be even better than the Philadelphia Eagles new stadium
which is totally off the grid with solar, wind, geo-thermal, etc. Neither the
Target Field or the new Viking stadium seem to be trying to be as "green" as
they can be. Green washing - probably.

of people in Minneapolis who I hope will make me their #1 choice to return to
the Park Board in an At Large seat.
