Some of us asked repeatedly that Mpls City Council do what St Paul City
Council did: hold an informational discussion on this, featuring youth who
currently are experiencing homelessness, or formerly did. No agreement on
this. WHY?
Mpls Public Schools reported that almost 4,000 youth and
children experienced homeless in Mpls in the 2019-20 school year. Star
Tribune op ed column

written by 3 formerly homeless youth offered ideas.
Why won't Mpls City Council agree to listen to and learn from some of these
youngsters?
Sincerely
Joe Nathan, PhD, Director Center for School Change
