Folks,

Local freaky music maven Timmy the Freak of The Weekly Freek fame and I are
putting together a web page about the band the Urban Guerrillas.  The purpose
of the web page is to is to celebrate everything about the Urban Guerrillas  -
a Minneapolis band that was popular in the Upper-Midwest from roughly 1983 to
1986.  This includes the band, the music, and of course the fans.  We want the
website to be a place to re-live those heady Urban Guerrillas days: reminisce
about drunken shows, learn more about the band, swap concert tapes, and
hopefully encourage the band to play one reunion show.

If you have any Urban Guerrilla memorabilia, concert tapes, newspaper articles,
photos, or other band news we would greatly appreciate hearing from you.  Right
now we only have a myspace page up:
http://www.myspace.com/theurbanguerrillasfans but hope to have a full blown web
site up real soon, even if it isn't fully populated with all that we want.
Since the band came and went long before the internet, it's been difficult to
collect everything we want so that's why I'm sending out this cattle call.
