Food Fight! Uptown Cafeteria and Support Group–a restaurant review
http://www.tcdailyplanet.net/node/59193
by Rich Reeder,Uptown Neighborhood News• Now that the Twins are playing again,
it seems appropriate to point to an Uptown bistro that pulls in large crowds
for baseball and every other televised sport – people who are typically lively,
celebratory, hungry, thirsty and have their game on.
MUSIC REVIEW | Bear In Heaven at the 7th Street Entry: Great expectations not
fully met
http://www.tcdailyplanet.net/node/59012
by Peter Black (text) and Jeff Rutherford (photos), TC Daily Planet • The one
sentiment I’ve heard, almost more than any band that is named Bruce Springsteen
or Radiohead, was about how great Bear In Heavenis to see live. That sentiment
was 100% true. Their performance in 2010 at the Turf Club is one of the few
shows I’ve continued to talk about for the past two years. Not only have I
talked about it but everyone, literally EVERYONE, I’ve talked to that saw them
live in 2010 has raved about the experience. I’ve pined to see them again ever
since then. However, like everything in life with expectations are so high you
usually can only feel a little bit let down. Hotdish Revolution in the Holland
neighborhood

by Carol Jensen,Northeaster• The Eighth annual Hotdish Revolution, hosted by
the Holland Neighborhood Improvement Association, was April 22 at the Edison
High School gym. For those not from Minnesota, a hotdish to you would be called
a casserole.
