decision and we now know who the three finalists are.
Food, Nature, and Culture: Build at Urban Oasis, by Tracy Sides of Saint Paul,
MN: Food, nature and culture come together in the Urban Oasis—an idea that
transforms existing space at the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary into a signature

Saint Paul Center for Creative Arts, by Jack Ray of Minneapolis, MN: Part dream
factory and part skills building, the Center for Creative Arts is Jack’s idea
to establish a vibrant learning space for young people to learn and practice
various disciplines in a hands-on and cooperative way. Watch the Center for

Saint Paul Art Train, by Craig Blakely of Saint Paul, MN: Imagine a Saint Paul
destination that’s made up of walkable green spaces and repurposed railcars
buzzing with creative activity. Get ready to board the Art Train. Watch the Art

Now, it’s up to Minnesotans (and that means you Minneapolis neighbors) to
decide who is going to be the Challenge Champion! Before I list the ways to
vote I want to say thank you to those of you who have come to our voting events
so far. The three ways to vote are:
a. Online – at MNIdeaOpen.org/foreversaintpaul
b. in-person events (including the State Fair!)
c. via text message (message and data rates may apply). Text the keyword for
your favorite idea to 228466 (message and data rates may apply).

Fair. Look for us near the Space Tower and International Bazaar!
If you vote at the State Fair booth, you may receive a free BPA-free water
bottle, and you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a Saint Paul Weekend
