The Robbery:
The rain fell steadily on Saturday as my windshield wipers made that monotonous
swoosh swoosh, back and forth sound. I pulled into the Cub parking lot on Lake
Street to pick up a few items. This was just another rainy spring day and my
17 year-old son was with me, and not happy about my detour. He wasn't feeling
well and wanted to get home so he opted to wait in the car while I ran inside
the store.
