Tim Salo said (and I agree):
-----
"The crimes that Dean Zimmermann was convicted of and the things that he said
during his trial and on the recordings made by the FBI _are_ highly relevant
today. They are not relevant because Dean did them, but because many people
continue to argue that Dean didn't really do anything wrong, or at least didn't
do anything really wrong."

Nearly a year ago, Farheen Hakeem signed a letter of support for Dean
Zimmermann that said the following:
http://lists.cohousing.org/pipermail/mn-prog-events/msg00441.html
"We are convinced that Dean is innocent of the crime of bribery"
"we stand in support of an honest man"
"We miss Dean's leadership on the Minneapolis City
Council."
"Dean Zimmermann is a political
prisoner"
I wrote to Farheen Hakeem asking if she stood by those statements and she never
replied.
I also asked the following questions:
1) What is your position on the 35W Access Project:
http://www.taxpayer.net/road2ruin/roads/i35waccessproject.htm
2) What is your position on the Central Corridor LRT?
3) What is your position on Personal Rapid Transit (PRT)?
I have not yet received an answer.
That is why I posted my questions on this list.
Maybe some reporters will ask the candidate the questions.
