Subject: [EXTERNAL] From my perspective, it is not appropriate to encourage

From my perspective, it is not appropriate…to encourage block club leaders to
participate in a SENA survey.
I believe, Jennifer, that there is a data privacy act that prevents anyone from
identifying who the block club leaders are…other than the Minneapolis Police
Department and their staff. Candace in the SENA office and the SENA board
should not have asked you to contact the confidential block club leaders and
suggest that they contact the SENA office if they want to volunteer to be part
of an online survey. This is WRONG!!
Spending staff time preparing a survey for block club leaders to fill out is
not appropriate….at least from my perspective and from what I know about data
privacy acts. Those block club leaders, hopefully, will not participate.
Sincerely,
Doris
