Dear neighbors,
Last year, my friends and I created an app for Little Free Pantries
<http://www.littlefreepantry.org/>
(LFP). It is like a Little Free Library but where people can put
non-perishable foods and household goods, for people who need extra
stuff. We didn’t know that a year later LFPs would be so popular. Many
people are changing their Little Free Libraries into LFPs. If you are
like my family you may have more than enough to share.
Our family has been adding books to the Little Free Library on 28th Avenue
in front of the entrance to Seward Montessori for the past several
years. We asked the principal if we could convert it to a LFP, and she said
yes, so we have converted it to a Little Free Pantry. If you have
non-perishable food items or household goods you can donate please add
them. If you are in need, please feel free to take something.
