senseless violence against women and children in our neighborhood. We
also agree that Molly has the right idea, and we are more the willing
to band together with our neighbors to patrol and promote peace.

I, too, am sickened by this latest incident. On top of all the other
recent violence. Guadalupe tragically in the line of fire as well.
Is the safety committee still open for participants? Would PPNA please
post info here about that (again, if necessary)? Seems like we are
sitting on a potential groundswell of community involvement, once
again. sigh. Does seem like it would be optimal to coordinate our
efforts so we can truly shift the level of safety for all.
