The VRF was formed in response to the
exuberant desire of many to continue with the bold and creative work that will
shift our city closer to it’s wildest potential.
Join us this summer for one full week of catalyst
community projects taking place in three South Minneapolis neighborhoods:
In Elliot Park neighborhood we will utilize the tools
of large-scale mural making to craft an identity of place.
In Phillips we showcase the transformative work of
block reclamation and permaculture design to leave functional beauty in our
wake.
In Seward we will use an ancient building technique
that utilizes clay, sand, straw and water to craft a form that is as sculptural
as it is structural.
Here now is our chance to not wait a moment longer
to have the places that we inhabit truly reflect our sense of what is possible
in our city.
All Events are Free and Open To Everyone!
