AM β’ Program begins at 9:15 AM.We are located at 2323 Eleventh Avenue South in
Minneapolis. On our August Plate will be Quiche Lorraine, Veggie Quiche,
Roasted Red Potatoes, Turkey Sausage and all the Coffee, Tea and Water you can
drink.
The August Topic is Putting Our Best Feet Forward: "Do we know the best ways to
protect our feet? How do we clip our toenails correctly? Should we use foot
creams or lotions? What do diabetic foot problems actually look like? Get
answers to why we must work so hard to protect our feet from injuries and
infections?" These monthly breakfasts are coordinated by A Partnership Of
Diabetics (A-POD) and our co-sponsors - Native American Community Clinic,
Running Wolf Fitness Center, Community-University Health Care Center and Waite
House - Funding for these events are through The Backyard Initiative of Allina
Health and Novo Nordisk. A-POD is a non-profit organization permanently located
