If anyone wants to leverage their online neighbors forums as part of a
proposal, let us know. While we will be out in the field with extensive
bridge building outreach - http://e-democracy.org/inclusion - your local
ideas and energy are what will take connections the next level.

*The deadline for submitting ideas is March 23,* but early birds who enter
their idea by March 9 will be entered in a drawing for free tickets to our
Idea Open comedy show (details below). This year, we offer *four ways to
enter your idea*:
*Do it old school style at
MNIdeaOpen.org/challenge3<http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?et=1109398730517&s=18&e=001QslCUD4wBXDGoJgszDq8hn6qeVkXrQ_NCvugHP9BxsgRwnrXz3ApNBvQLo8P3g_psJW6bbBpvIEgQI7uxG_qajalKMp1dUKTzWWms9v3aZXyMGtojcPyOedXp25LDaV4>
*. All you need is an email and password to get started. Oh. And you should
be at least age 13 or older with guardian or parental permission to
participate online, per state guidelines.
*Leave us a message at 612.217.1580*. For anyone with limited computer
access or who just prefers the ease of voicemail, you can leave us a
message with your idea entry. You'll still want to keep it short. All
entries left as voicemail messages will be entered on the Idea Open website
for you so others can see them, share them, comment on them and possibly
vote for them.
*Email your idea to <email obscured> <<email obscured>>*. We love
email from the Idea Open community, so we're excited to offer it as a way
to submit an idea for Challenge III. Same as with voicemail entries, we'll
enter your idea on the Idea Open website for you.
*Fill out an Idea Open postcard*. You'll find these at special events and a
few select college campuses and libraries.
Tips for a successful voicemail or email entry:
- Keep it to 250 words or less.
- Don't forget a title for your idea! This is how others will find you
once it's put on the website.
- Include your contact info: name; phone or email or both; and your city
and/or county. If you forget this information or do not provide it, and we
cannot reach you to complete it, your idea will not be entered into the
Challenge.
No matter how you submit your idea, be sure to read our guidelines at
MNIdeaOpen.org/challenge3<http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?et=1109398730517&s=18&e=001QslCUD4wBXDGoJgszDq8hn6qeVkXrQ_NCvugHP9BxsgRwnrXz3ApNBvQLo8P3g_psJW6bbBpvIEgQI7uxG_qajalKMp1dUKTzWWms9v3aZXyMGtojcPyOedXp25LDaV4>to
ensure your entry qualifies. Any missing information may disqualify
your
entry so be sure to check the guidelines or ask us for help at
<email obscured> <<email obscured>>.
This year, we'll narrow all of the ideas down to five finalists. Three
winning ideas will receive $15,000 each to become a reality, and the
individuals who submitted the winning ideas will receive $500 for their
efforts! And because we love good ideas, the two finalists who are
*not*crowned the Challenge Champions still receive $5,000 each to help
make
their ideas become realities--and $100 for their efforts.
*A Comedy Show, an Interfaith Build and More*
Clear your calendar and get ready to participate in the Idea Open like
never before. We have something for everyone.
