The room was full. A group called Assembly for Civil Rights had
doorknocked in the community that afternoon, alerting people, many of
whom were only vaguely, if at all, aware of the scheme. About 11
people spoke against the scheme and two spoke for it. A newspaper

It was not clear to me what impression was made on the council
members,but they seem to be standing firm on their support for the
project. More work needed!
