At the time of writing, RBK housing has objected to our plan for creating a
Community Hub. So we are now awaiting permission to create, at out own
expense, an enlarged meeting space and Disabled toilet.
Furthermore we have just heard, that our bid to take over some of the Residents
Participation service, (that they encouraged us to make), eventually, after a
three month wait, has been rejected and awarded to Pinnacle Housing Ltd a
company owned by the Cheng Yiu Tung family in Hong Kong.It appears that we were
the least expensive option and had offered an innovative proposal to use the
services of the chronically disabled to promote conviviality throughout the
Borough but we lacked administrative experience.
Because of the cold weather, our support for the Homeless in Norbiton has
recently been our main focus. We have opened discussions with other parties in
this field to have a meeting to see we could provide more coordinated
