E-Democracy builds online public space in the heart of real democracy and community. Our mission is to harness the power of online tools to support participation in public life, strengthen communities, and build democracy.
I open the door to those who have interest in being Forum Manager. Effective immediately, I resign from this responsibility. I originally agreed to take it on in order to get the Forum up on the web and operating. I no longer desire to carry the responsibility.
Who here is interested in building community connections online?
As we highly recommend broad and friendly community life exchange as the main engine (not politics) you'd have an opportunity to start something fresh here or via a new Facebook group.
Our recent review of Facebook groups shows that thousands of area residents are connecting to buy, sell, and trade in the region. Why not neighborly community life exchange too?
These groups all started with the right person, at the right time, and just enough enthusiasm to get others to sign up and join in.
