received I am resending it as a reminder. (With thanks to Linda Dunbrack)
Please read and keep it in mind when posting - those who have not yet read or
understood the civility guidelines will be moderated temporarily.
Please keep all messages civil. Simply put: No name calling. No insults. Don't
assume motives stick to issues and not the individuals etc
As recent discussions have heated up this is probably a good time to remind
people of the rules which they agreed to when they signed up.
http://forums.e-democracy.org/support/rules/full-rules/
They include
No name calling, insults, personal one-on-one arguments, or strongly inflamed
speech. This applies to all people and groups of people including all other
participants, any member of the public including public figures, and groups of
people including political groups, and social or racial/ethnic groups.
If you see a problem with a post please contact the moderators - do not send
your comments to the list as this could result in a warning.
In general the rules for the list have been pretty relaxed - lets help keep it
that way. Other forums usually have a limit of two posts for day which helps
keep peoples inboxes from being flooded and usually leads to thoughtful content
as people consider their limit for the day. Moderators can change the limit
and notify the list if that is done.
If you have questions about the rules or this post please send them to Brett or
me directly and not to the list.
Thanks for your help.
