So the concept that others might disagree with you is totally lost on you.
You’ve basically said it’s not divisive because everyone SHOULD agree with you.
That is the very height of divisive. And conceit.
As for Governor Baker, he has done a reasonable good job (although there are a
couple things that did tic me off, and my vote for him is not a sure thing).
But his job is not to help Framingham but to manage the state. If he was to
single out one town for assistance that would inherently mean he was showing
disfavor to others. If a candidate promised to favor Framingham over other
municipalities I would have to believe they were lying.

Rick, that is actually a beautiful message. I love it! The only part i
disagree with is that Charlie Baker is doing anything. Popular and effective
are not the same thing. I dont see how he's helping Framingham, at all.
As far as the divisiveness, plenty of people see that the leadership is
setting a bad example and should not behave with the spirit of dominating
bully. That's not divisive, that's actually what should unify us... some value,

Do you think your message is divisive? I'm not trying to be divisive... vote
for a Democrat for governor, please. To get stuff done for Framingham, and
for Massachussets, and for Our Values.

So Amanda,
Does that mean that you are recommending that Framingham residents should go
and vote democrat at the next gov election -- no matter who the candidate is
and what their platform is -- even if the present governor is doing a good job,
and has the best interests of Massachusetts residents in his mind? Your
mindset is one which will keep us all from one day being unified, and that of a
"herd" mentality. Samir's 'One Framingham' socials are in the nature of where
we should be heading as a new city. We have a democrat, republican,
independent, green party, LGBT, Brazilian, Puerto Rican, Indian, Catholic,
Jewish, Muslim, White, Black, Brown, 'you name it' community here in
Framingham. We need to embrace and celebrate our diversity -- not segregate it
by political party affiliation and the such. Finally, cherishing diversity
also means cherishing a diversity of ideas.

who's going to be governor for the next four years, starting in 2019??
Not to start any flame wars here (although, i admit I'm curious where the
members of this group stand...) BUT, word on the street is the best way to
"resist" Trump President Trump is for Massachussets to elect a Democratic
governor in Nov. this year...because Massachusetts is supposedly some kind
of revolutionary leader of this Nation and all. Plus, we (Framingham) are
totally in the spotlight now anyway! What we do now, it matters.
If you like this vision of Massachussets and Framingham continuing to lead
in electing a Democrat to governor this year, please let me know. I would
never send you through the proper channels: thats just not my style. It's
way more fun too my way, trust me. <grins>
