all the janitors i ever met were cool people, do they still use saw dust to
clean up when someone eats something that doesn't agree with them,? some times
i do a job where i am left with bags and bags of saw dust, i always smile and
think of my grammar school janitors,
john,,,,next time use ''roofer'' as your example, no one likes roofers, and
the buffalo bills aren't coming back, not thus year, it takes longer to get
over ''sexy rexy'', and his brother,,,,''unsexy rexy'',
in the future try not to mention my name when you go off on janitors, i have
enough trouble keeping my own butt out of trouble, let it be known,,,,,walter
loves janitors,
i think we need a ''janitor appreciation day'', especially now,

Thank you Caesar for those kind words. For those who don't know me my name is
Ricky Finlay and I took offense to John comments. I am a custodian in another
district. I know the work that these folks do day in and out. The great
dedication they have. They are most often the first ones called on for
assistance. The ones who live in town are very actively involved in our
community.
I for one try to give back as much time as I can to this community.
I serve on school committee and the disability comittee and volunteer in youth
sports and other stuff in town.
In closing I would like to say I am hoping see positive things come out in the
next six weeks campaigning no matter who you vote for. Listen to the candidates
and ask your questions. I love this town soon to be city.

I really don't trust janitors.
I think they hide contraband like Playboy magazine here and there.
And they are the first to be cut from the school budget during "trying" times.
Mayor's on the other hand must give the people hope!
Like saying the buffalo are coming back.
When they ain't.
In spite of her last name reminding me of the subject of a SNL skit, Yvonne
Spicer is our first Mayor unless I do not know how to count.
As to her inexperiance, there is no school for Mayor's but our
our current Town Manager will be her mentor for 6 months.
And to the distress of the janitorial staff, she will know where the toilets
are by then I would think and if not, she can claim she inherited the problem
from the Town Manager. Thats a bus service that costs nothing!
Note: The plumbing in the Memorial Building does not work anyhow so it's
another Catch 22.
And speaking of plumbing, I made her promise to give me Peter Sellers ( the DPW
Chief, not the comic) job in exchange for signing her nomination papers.
It's not about the money with me but I will demand a brush before I accept.
And pardon my Washington Redskins, can we get the Police Chief to change his
last name?
Yikes!
It jumps out of todays headlines!
I hope we can expect better hiring standards in the future from our six figure
public "servants" who are probably angeling for a job on Beacon Hill or, dare I
say it, Washington DC!
Also, as to Walter Siggins Amazon post, the Senate President comes from the 413
area code, a place that never really recovered from Herbert Hoover's economic
policies.
Best wishes says I.
All the best,
John Dwyer
PS: looks like Stohl, Long, Sisitsky, and Hugo should take 1.
