Another bothersome article in the paper today having to do with this
"The bill would restrict local law enforcement from notifying immigration
authorities if someone here illegally were arrested for a minor crime such as
shoplifting, Eldridge said, and it would block local police from holding a
non-criminal-offender on an immigration detainer."
...and it sure does relate to Framingham Govt. folks.....
I'm having a hard time wrapping myself around this one. First of all, yes
it's true that more focus should be on hard core breakers of the law, and going
after the small lesser crimes seems counterproductive especially immigrants
who have been here a long time who have families here and are settled. That
said here are my issues.
Why are the immigrants wanting to have things always working out for their
benefit?
Take the English being taught in the classes now, they want to be taught in
their own language, which is a big departure from the way the programs were set
up. Schools cave in so now it's OK to teach them in their native language.
OK, you won on that one. But wait theres more!
Now we have people claiming that they want to be able to break "little" laws
and get away with it. What exactly are these "little" laws? You know like
stealing, driving infractions, document fraud... Those little bothersome
laws that irritate us at times when we get caught doing from time to time.
Hmmmm let me get this straight....illegal immigrant steals from the store gets
caught but wants us to forgive him/her? This is absolutely mind boggling! I
guess it's not a big deal to steal now.
Believe it or not stealing is a crime against Gods law, you know the the Eighth
Commandment!!!! You should not STEAL!
So now we have a group of people who want to change Gods law too!
Incredible!
I really don't think God has an eraser big enough to do that but thanks for
asking.
How about this one... I go to their home country steal something there get
caught.... guess what would happen to me....some serious jail time or at the
least I would be deported immediately no fanfare no questions asked, one way
plane ticket home. Don't let the barn door hit you in the backside... Why is
it that WE Americans get the short end of the stick when we commit "small"
crimes while those here illegally get away with it.
I love this quote....
"These are people that come to work. Not to do illegal things,โ she said. โThey
should be looking for people who are doing wrong things, not separating
families."
Maybe I'm missing something here isn't stealing an illegal thing? Illegal
enough for God to say its wrong. Can I go to jail for stealing? Will I be
separated from MY family if I go to jail for stealing something?
So it's only important when illegal immigrants are separated from the families.
Americans who cares? This is just so incredible to believe!
Well I guess I'm just going to have to suck it up, there are two sets of rules
in America now one for the Illegals and one for the American Citizens who have
to play by the rules.
And yet the most important rules are Gods rules but I guess to some people
those rules aren't that important anymore either.
What do think Jesus would say on this one? He did refer to the ten
commandments a few times and mentioned stealing was not something a good person
would do. Mark 10:19
My question to the list would be what other laws can we put on the back burner?
Seems to me when people are confronted with laws that cramp their lifestyle
they want them done away with. How this would be a good thing is beyond me.
How some people think that breaking Gods rules are a good thing, is even more
so beyond me.
Last point on the Trafficking problem..in my other post... see how all this
relates......Here is part of the solution that Framingham eludes to based on
Arlington's rules.
Like Framingham proposes to do, Arlington required a birth certificate and high
school diploma or the equivalent for each practitioner, Criminal Offender
Record Information and Sex Offender Registry information screenings and proof
of liability insurance, and certification from a nationally certified
membership organization.
Read this carefully and think about what my point below it is saying....
OK then...that means people have to be here legally? Right? How would they
get all these documents? How would they get to be in all these databases?
They would have to have clean documents to present for these other ones. They
would have to be legally on the books as being approved to be here. Sure they
can falsify them but then again if the business is lieing then they should not
be allowed to operate just for that.
Linda, are you saying the BOS can't do anything about a wayward business?
And why would we even need a bylaw to give them that power. Should be
automatic
What by-law do we have that tells them now they can approve a business that
traffics people. I still stand by my solutions, as the new ones proposed don't
seem to have any teeth in them.
