of current there and no barrier to keep a child in a kayak from going over.
There should be signs/barrels/ warnings specifying how far back it is safe to
be. I donβt even know what is safe, I keep out of the entire area. But I am an
experienced canoeist. Who /what agency/ would I contact to get some signs put
up like the ones warning about whirlpools at the little Fenwick street dam?
There is a public boat access off Centennial Place which is just around the
corner from this area, and they are talking about setting up another off
Simpson Drive.
