I actually have some Framingham Government issues to discuss, and I think
this is the right place to post this.
The Board of Health has added a link to our website devoted to the 350
Irving Street property for those who are interested in the issues there.
It is a work in progress, but Carol Bois, our LSP has agreed to add content
as she acquires and has time to do so. This is a work in progress which
combines postings from several websites from various agencies, but we feel
that because of the interest in that parcel, there ought to be a single
source that our town residents can go to in order to learn what is
happening there.
The URL is: http://www.framinghamma.gov/1996/350-Irving-Street
In addition to that, we are planning a public forum, at which we have asked
Eversource (the owner of the property), the DEP and several others,
including the BOH to present information and respond to questions. That is
October 15th at 7:00 PM at the Woodrow Wilson School, the public facility
closest to the property at issue..
While questions will undoubtedly arise from the presentation, WE ARE
ENCOURAGING PARTICIPANTS TO SEND US WHATEVER QUESTIONS YOU ALL HAVE AND
KNOW ABOUT IN ADVANCE. This way, we can avoid - to the extent possible -
the response, "not sure, we will look into it..."
Please send whatever questions you already know you have to the BOH general
mailbox, which is <email obscured> and we will do our best to have a
prepared response for you that night.
Mike Hugo, Chair
Board of Health
