forum messages are rejected unless subscribers have the forum "whitelisted."
When this happens, RCN subscribers who do not have us whitelisted stop
receiving forum emails.
If you have not already done so, please whitelist the forum. Here are the most
complete instructions we have available.
1. Login to RCN Webmail via your web browser (Go to
https://www.rcn.com/boston/customer-center and on the right side, the second
set of boxes down is "Web Mail." Do not login to "MyRCN Customer Center" which
is above it)
2. Select the “Preferences” Tab from the top. (The tabs are dark blue, and
"Preferences" is between "Tasks" and "Social") Under the Preferences Tab, Click
on "General" from the Navigation list to the left.
3. You should then see "Login Options" at the top of the screen. Select
"Advanced (Ajax)" if it isn't selected. If you had to change this setting,
click "Save" at the top (You may have to log out and log in for this to take
effect).
4. Click on the “Mail Icon” from the Navigation list to the left. (Do not click
on any of the navigation choices listed underneath it.) Scroll down past
“Displaying Messages” and “Receiving Messages” to “Spam Mail Options."
5. Enter "forums.e-democracy.org" to under "Allow Messages From". (right hand
column). (Don't add the quotation marks, just the text).
6. Click "Save" at the top
