Hello Everyone!
Thanks to everyone for a great first week of the forum. It has been great to
hear from so many of you and to get a feel for the range of issues that you are
hoping to discuss on the forum. We have already read some budding
discussions/ideas including: energy, transportation, public health, housing and
homelessness and availability of information.
If any of you joined the forum 'late' (since we launched officially on April
16th), please note you can read through all discussion archives by visiting the
forum website at:
http://forums.e-democracy.org/groups/corif
On a separate note: Typically, e-democracy.org issues forums will moderate
messages in the first week or two of discussions. This just means that we (Liz
or Josh) read over the messages before posting them. This simply gives us an
opportunity to guide forum members if something is not appropriate for the
forum, as we are all learning how it works. We moderate messages only within
the rules of e-democracy, which you can read at:
http://e-democracy.org/rules/
So far, we have not had any problems, and I expect we will disable the
moderation (except for new members, who all get a two message moderation
period) in the next couple of days.
Thanks Everyone!
Feel free to ask us questions or share with us your comments! We are learning
too, and appreciate your feedback!
