I hope that this correspondence finds you in the best of health and
circumstances. I am asking that everyone who is able to attend this workshop.
This information will be the key to the African-American community get its fair
share of the resources and opportunities mandated by Title VI of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964, which we have been consistently and unjustly denied. We
must learn what this act contains and how to force compliance with provisions
contained in it. There will never be a better opportunity to educate ourselves
we have a representative from the Washington D.C. compliance office coming here
to educate us on the process. All of you who have been struggling to secure
federal contracts and funding opportunities would miss a great opportunity to
address your concerns. If you can not attend please send a representative from
