The third annual UIC e-Government Workshop, achieving it
Efficiencies Through Collaboration, will be held on Thursday,
May 12, 2011. This workshop, hosted by the University
of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Master of Public Administration
program, will be held at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville in
Lisle, Illinois.
This years workshop will highlight ways that government
agencies can achieve economies in the use of information
technology through collaboration - collaboration with the
private sector with cloud computing, and collaboration
between levels of government via shared services
arrangements.
Join other local, state, and federal government managers,
appointees and elected officials in identifying common
IT challenges and in sharing useful solutions. In addition
to networking with participants from other agencies and
communities, you will have ample opportunity to interact
with presenters and vendors.
