I've taken up an issue that I think will become increasingly important. The
development of very local groups. Neighbourhood Groups.
Every house in Condell Avenue was invited to join a group called "Condell
Community" two days ago, by a letterbox drop. The response has been muted.
However the two foundation members, Andrew Groom and Myself have found plenty
to talk about. It's actually much easier than inventing topics for Canterbury
Issues. There are things each of us know that we want to share with people who
live close to us. Posing to this new group has been an easy and natural thing
to do. (That's not a feeling that I anticipated. Interesting.)
I'm pretty sure anyone can look at the posts.

I prepared an introductory page in my ATE web site. That page doesn't seem to
have won any favour.

So, take a look. We are open to advice.
If you know anyone who lives in Condell Avenue, pick up the phone and give them
a call. Tell them what's going on.
It is our intention to do a follow-up door knock starting in about a week.
