Hi all a reminder that the Canterbury Branch of the Soil & Health Association - the oldest organics organisation in New Zealand - is celebrating its 65th birthday Thursdsay 15 May, 7pm at the Oxford Tce Baptist Church (corner Madras St and Oxford Tce) Guest speaker, Rev. Maurice Gray. Some delicious organic food has been donated by local organic businesses to help us celebrate, so don't miss out! All are welcome. The i-sis.org.uk website champions organics as the only answer to the world food problem. I think there may be some risk associated with "organics" if plants are chosen which are insect resistant because they have high level of natural toxins. I would like to explore that.
