ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Monday 4th July 2011
St Peter's Methodist Church
Allison Road, Broom Hill, Bristol, BS4 4NZ
8.30pm to 9.00pm
(after the Neighbourhood Forum meeting, which starts at 7pm)
At Brislington Community Partnership's Annual General Meeting (AGM), the
elected officers stand down and new elections are held. David Waters (Chair),
Ali Hender (Deputy Chair), Steve Pearce (Treasurer) and Angela Piccini
(Secretary) will stand down. Unfortunately, BCP co-founder and long-term Chair
David Waters is unwell and will not be able to stand for re-election this year.
I'm sure you'll all join with us to wish him the very best as he's served the
community with great passion and commitment.
This AGM is open to all who live, play and work in Brislington so please
stay on after the Forum to participate in this process. We encourage anyone
with an interest in the community to stand for election or to come prepared to
nominate candidates. The previous monthly BCP meetings have now been replaced
by the Forum meetings that the Council run. BCP has refocused its energies on
community-led projects, whether that's Brislington Brook or a new plan for
Brislington or working for joined-up health and education provision. We know
how precious volunteer time is so we want to ensure that we can act effectively
in and for the community.
