Southern Water has been sold, to a consortium led by the Wall st bank JP Morgan. UK infrastructure assets have become popular with pension funds because of their relatively low risks and strong, stable cash flows, advantages which have been highlighted by the recent global credit crunch. http://business.guardian.co.uk/story/0,,2187414,00.html Recently JP Morgan has been hit by the mortgage crisis experiencing a slump in stocks, the bank is down - as they say- 5% from beginning of the year! Lets all give a big welcome to JP Morgan, Enron scandal bank, who now hope to Up by making a profit with the consortium from our water. That means job losses, bigger bills. Isnt business news fascinating this autumn, a big Thank You to our government for the magnificient autumn gifts of decreases on Capital Gain on second homes, and buy to lets. Why don't we set up a local bank?
