But thanks for looking into this, Rachel. Perhaps you might be able to at least
write to him though expressing a concern and making the point about health and
safety? Certainly if children are running around in hot weather they need to
drink water. Is the cafe licensed by the council? Perhaps some pressure could
be exerted that way as well.

Sadly there is no legal requirement to provide tap water although our Head of
Licensing suggests that it is prudent for owners to do so from a health and
safety perspective.
I think it's illegal to charge for tap water but not illegal not to provide
it!
