I just came back from doing the national anthems for a Fargo Redhawks game. It
was pretty nice sitting through the evening's game without being bitten up by
our north country mascot. Does anyone have feelings about the pros and cons of
mosquito control in Bemidji? Is it feasible, would it make the town more viable
for summer events, is it currently done? It might be another use for the sales
tax money to support recreation and parks. Just a thought for a new thread.

hello all:
As forum manager, i try keep a hands off approach and let these threads
organically grow and resolve themselves. However, this one seems to have
gotten off the topic a bit. More problematic the posts have increasingly
gotten very personal and have taken an aggressive tone that seem to run counter
to the forum's rules on civility. Please review the rules of the forum here:
http://pages.e-democracy.org/Rules
Please work to stay on topic. Start another thread if you have other topics
even if they are a bit intertwined and related. We have had some awesome posts
with great links and information. We want to keep people coming here for
information and debate. They will stop coming if they feel they are being
bullied or lectured to.
It may be difficult to keep some topics positive as not every thing in our neck
of the woods is working "great." I do ask that we at least keep it
constructive and keep the information flowing.
